The Agreement on Business and Technical Cooperation between the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs

naslovnaDecember 31, 2015 The Anti-Corruption Agency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have concluded an Agreement on business and technical cooperation with the aim of establishing cooperation for mutual exchange of data from their respective competencies, in accordance with the existing laws. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will upon the Anti-Corruption Agency's request deliver data from their registers, necessary for the performance of the Agency's duties foreseen by the Law. Especially, data on: personal name, parent personal name, place and date of birth, unique master citizen identifier, place and home adress, citizenship of personal entities, data on ownership over movables subjected to registration (motor vehicles and weapons) and data on public gatherings. The Anti-Corruption Agency will deliver, upon the Ministry of Internal Affairs' demand, data from its registers, i.e.: property register with accompanying documentation, if available, register of public officials, as well as data on filed requests for initiation of misdemenour procedures and criminal complaints. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will, upon individually explained request, enable the Anti-Corruption Agency to exchange data that are necessary for performance of duties from its perview, through the authorised internal unit for international operational cooperation. The signatories of the Agreement are obliged to, timely and in coordination, plan and follow mutual obligation that concern availability, ways of data exchange, as well as to authorise persons that have access to data. Upon data demand it will be acted within 15 days deadline. The signatories of the Agreement, Tatjana Babić, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency and Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojša Stefanović have estimated that the implementation of the Agreement will simplify and speed up mutual data exchange and concrete action in the field of prevention of corruption.
