The Anti-Corruption Agency has published a statistical analysis of the catalogue of gifts of public officials in 2015.
Legal framework:
An official shall report any gift received in connection with discharge of public office to the state or other body, organization or public service wherein he/she holds public office. A state or other body, organisation or public service, shall keep separate records of the gifts.
A copy of the records for the previous year shall be submitted to the Agency, no later than 1 March of the current year. (Article 41, paragraph 1 and 2 of the Anti-Corruption Agency Law).
The Agency shall keep a catalogue of gifts (Article 68, paragraph 1.4 of the Anti-Corruption Agency Law). The Agency shall publish a catalogue of gifts for the previous year and notifications specified in paragraph 2 of this Article, by 1 June of the current year (Article 41, paragraph 4 of the Anti-Corruption Agency Law).
