The representative of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption participated in the 15th session of the Intergovernmental Working Group on the Prevention of Corruption, as well as the joint meeting with the Working Group on the Implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which were held in Vienna from September 3 to 6, 2024.
This year's session covered several topics, including the prevention of corruption in public procurement and the role of civil society, the media, youth, and women in combating corruption. Discussions also addressed strengthening international cooperation in the fight against corruption during emergency situations, along with methodologies and indicators for measuring corruption and the effectiveness of anti-corruption frameworks.
