MEETING OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY AND THE AMBASSADOR OF THE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS TO THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

The Director of the Agency, Dejan Damnjanović, met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Serbia, Martijn Elgersma, with whom he discussed the importance of partnership and cooperation in the field of corruption prevention, with a shared commitment to strengthening institutional integrity, transparency, and efficiency of anti-corruption policies.The Agency's activities in the previous period were presented, such as the opening of regional units, improving cooperation with other state bodies and international partners, commitment to fulfilling ODIHR and GRECO recommendations, and developing anti-corruption awareness among primary and secondary school students. Special attention was paid to the Agency's priorities in the coming period, such as the new unified information system of the Agency, strengthening analytical capacities, further development of the Catalogue of Public Functions, as well as additional improvement of preventive mechanisms. Particular attention was paid to the challenges that the institution faces in the process of strengthening public trust and the effective implementation of the anti-corruption framework, as well as the Corruption Perception Index.

OSCE HEAD OF MISSION VISITS AGENCY

11.02.2026.

The Director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, Dejan Damnjanović, met with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Ambassador Marcel Peško, to discuss the continuation and enhancement of cooperation in the field of corruption prevention, with a special focus on joint activities planned for 2026. During the meeting, the importance of the long-standing partnership between the Agency and the OSCE Mission to Serbia was highlighted, as well as shared commitment to strengthening institutional integrity, transparency, and the effectiveness of anti-corruption policies. Director Damnjanović thanked the OSCE Mission for its continued support and emphasized that cooperation with this international organization represents a significant pillar in the development of the Agency’s preventive mechanisms and capacities.

19th TRAINING FOR LOBBYISTS

06.02.2026.

The 19th training for lobbyists was held on January 29 and 30, 2026, at the premises of the Agency. This cycle of education was successfully completed by six participants, who, at the final test held on February 4, demonstrated a high level of knowledge and readiness to professionally perform lobbying activities.

REPORT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA SUBMITTED TO THE GROUP OF STATES AGAINST CORRUPTION OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE (GRECO)

08.01.2026.

The Ministry of Justice has submitted to the Group of States against Corruption of the Council of Europe (GRECO) the Report of the Republic of Serbia, which contains additional information on the implementation of the remaining recommendations within the Fifth Evaluation Round. These recommendations relate to the prevention of corruption and the improvement of integrity in central government and law enforcement bodies.

TRAINING HELD FOR MINISTERS IN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA: “INTEGRITY STANDARDS OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS THROUGH THE LEGAL AND INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK FOR PREVENTING CORRUPTION”

The Agency, in cooperation with the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and the General Secretariat of the Government, implemented another in a series of trainings entitled “Integrity Standards of Public Officials through the Legal and Institutional Framework for Preventing Corruption”, thereby completing the training cycle for ministers.
