PLENARY MEETING OF THE OECD ANTI-CORRUPTION NETWORK FOR EASTERN EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA

The Director of the Agency, Dejan Damnjanović, participated in the Plenary Session of the OECD Anti-Corruption Network for the Countries of Southeast Europe and Central Asia, held in Paris from September 17 to 19.

At the ACN Plenary 23rd Monitoring Meeting, within the Fifth Monitoring Round of the Istanbul Action Plan, reports on the monitoring of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan were discussed and adopted. Following the presentation of each country's draft report, rapporteurs posed additional questions to clarify and enhance the findings. The Republic of Serbia actively participated in the monitoring of the report for Kazakhstan, especially in the part related to anti-corruption policy.

During the 29th Steering group Meeting of the Management Board of the ACN Network, the preliminary results of the pilot project "Regional Dialogue - Regional Anti-Corruption Outlook Report on Anti-Corruption Policy and Business Integrity" were presented. In addition, activities were discussed and implemented, as well as planned activities within the Network's Work Program for the period from 2023 to 2026, with a special emphasis on strengthening anti-corruption initiatives across the region.
