To inform local government representatives about the Agency’s competencies and to foster ongoing collaboration, Director Dejan Damnjanović met with public officials of the Zlatibor District at Užice Town Hall. The meeting was hosted by Užice Mayor PhD Jelena Raković Radivojević, and included municipal leaders from Kosjerić, Nova Varoš, Požega, Priboj, and Bajina Bašta.
Director Damnjanović provided an overview of the Law on the Prevention of Corruption, focusing on areas such as property and income declarations, conflict of interest, the new cycle of integrity plans, ethics and integrity training, and lobbying. A discussion followed, allowing attendees to share experiences and highlight real-life examples encountered in daily practice. The Director committed to continued support for the participants’ work and announced that Agency representatives would conduct monthly visits to administrative districts.
This meeting with the Zlatibor administrative district marks the eleventh such engagement by the Agency since July, part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen anti-corruption mechanisms.
