TRAINING FOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS IN NOVI SAD AND SUBOTICA

On November 12 in Novi Sad and November 13 in Subotica, the Agency held training sessions titled "Prevention of Conflicts of Interest, Registers, Records, and Asset Control of Public Officials, Lobbying, and Corruption Risk Assessment in Regulations in the Republic of Serbia." These sessions were announced by Agency Director Dejan Damnjanović during recent meetings with representatives of local self-government units in Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, and Subotica. The training covered the following topics:

Prevention of Conflicts of Interest: An overview of public officials' obligations in preventing conflicts of interest, including the issues of incompatibility, accumulation of public functions, performing additional work or activities, and transferring management rights.

Registers, Records, and Asset Control of Public Officials: Guidance on obligations to declare property and income, report the commencement and termination of public office, and declare gifts.

Lobbying in the Republic of Serbia: An introduction to the obligations under the Law on Lobbying.

Corruption Risk Assessment in Regulations: Information for public authorities on risk factors and corruption risks identified in regulations.

These training sessions were designed for elected, appointed, and nominated public officials in public authorities in AP Vojvodina.
