As part of the Revised Action Plan for Chapter 23 (Subchapter: Fight Against Corruption) and in line with professional standards for reporting on corruption prevention in Serbia, the online training session titled "Effective Models of Communication Between the Agency and the Media" was conducted.
During the training, media representatives received detailed information through presentations and direct discussions about the legal competences and powers of the Agency, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the Agency and the media.
Dušan Jeličić, Acting Assistant Director of the Sector for the Control of Financing of Political Activities and Campaigns, spoke about the control of the reports of political entities, Predrag Knežević, Acting Assistant Director, of the Sector for Registers, Records, and Income Control, spoke about the registration and verification of the assets of public officials, and Jasmina Ćirković, Acting Assistant Director of the Sector for Conflict of Interest and Cumulation of Functions, explained conflict of interest and accumulation of functions.
Through specific questions and answers of the participants, a deeper understanding of the Agency's concept and capabilities, when communicating the results of its work to the public were explained.
