Within the Project “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“ (EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights), jointly financed by the EU, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), implemented by GIZ, ADA, CPMA and OSCE Mission to Serbia, two-day trainings for the Agency for Prevention of Corruption representatives were held, on the topic “Stakeholders in anti-corruption initiatives”. Training was organized by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA).
Lecturer, Drago Kos, a prominent international expert in the field of corruption prevention, presented to the participants the role of public authorities in the fight against corruption, the role of the public sector, as well as the role of civil society organizations and citizens in the fight against corruption. The sessions included not only a transfer of knowledge but also an insight into several examples of good practice from different countries, sparking a lively discussion.
In addition to the 16 employees of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, the training was also attended by representatives of the Anti-Corruption Council.
