PLENARY MEETING OF THE ORGANIZATION FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT’S ANT-CORRUPTION NETWORK FOR EASTERN EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA (ACN/OECD)

The Agency’s Director, Dejan Damnjanović, and the Acting Assistant Director of the Sector for Integrity and Anti-Corruption Education, Bojana Smartek, participated in the Plenary Meeting of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OCD) Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (ACN/OECD), which was held in Paris from 7 to 9 July. The plenary meeting included the 24th Monitoring meeting of the Istanbul Action Plan against Corruption (IAP) and the 30th meeting of the ACN Steering Group.

In the first part of the session, within the framework of the Fifth Monitoring Round of the Istanbul Action Plan, the monitoring reports of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Ukraine were discussed and adopted.

During the second part of the session, at the 30th meeting of the ACN Steering Group, the preliminary results of the Pilot Project Regional Dialogue - Business Integrity were presented, at which the findings of the report "Anti-Corruption Trends in Eastern Europe and Central Asia: Strategic Frameworks and Business Integrity" were presented. Also, the implemented and planned activities from the Network's Work Program for 2023-2026 were discussed, as well as the draft Network's Work Program for 2027-2030, which was adopted.

In addition, the requests of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the Istanbul Action Plan were discussed.
