Dejan Damnjanović, Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption met today Zagorka Dolovac, Supreme Public Prosecutor with whom he discussed previous and future cooperation in fight against corruption.
The Agency and Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office are holders of numerous activities from the Revised Action Plan for Chapter 23-Subchapter Fight against Corruption, and their cooperation is also in line with the Law on Organization and Competence of State Authorities in Suppression of Organized Crime, Terrorism and Corruption.
Participants of the meeting agreed on the necessity to continue implementing activities envisaged by the Revised Action Plan for Chapter 23, enhance cooperation between the Agency and the Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office in terms of multidisciplinary task forces, engagement of liaison officers and criminal offences stipulated by the Law on Corruption Prevention and the Law on Financing of Political Activities, with an aim to improving results in fight against corruption.
