Having in mind the importance of efficient and continuous cooperation among all relevant institutions in the fight against corruption, Dejan Damnjanovic, Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, and Borko Draskovic, Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority of the Republic of Serbia (RGA), signed the Cooperation Agreement today.
The goal of the concluded Agreement is the realization of the cooperation between the Agency and the RGA, to achieve more efficient implementation of tasks within their competencies prescribed by Law, digitalization of declaration of immovables, as well as simplification and facilitation of declaration of immovables to the Agency.
Besides that, it was agreed that RGA establishes the Working Body for the fight against corruption, based on the proposal of the Director of the Agency. The Working Body will, among others, analyze cases of the so-called nonregulated market, where there is a suspicion of the existence of corruption.
The conclusion of this Agreement is a continuation of successful cooperation between the Agency and RGA, which will, together with the establishment of the Working Body, additionally contribute to the more efficient fight against corruption in the Republic of Serbia.
