In the Novi Sad City Assembly, the 10th training session "Manager as Initiator of Institutional Integrity Building” was held, with the aim to present to heads of institutions the importance of integrity plans development, that represent an institutional mechanism for the prevention of corruption.
Participants were presented with mechanisms for strengthening individual and institutional integrity through the presentation of the Agency competencies, the concept, importance and purpose of developing an integrity plan, i.e. analysis of corruption risks in the institution, with special emphasis to more comprehensive understanding of the director's responsibility in the development of the organizational culture and integrity of the institution in the context of the development and implementation of the integrity plan.
The participants of the training were also presented with the drafting and implementation of the integrity plan through an IT application, with special reference to the identification and assessment of the risk of corruption, as well as with the selection of adequate improvement measures in risky work processes.
The training was attended by directors, deputy directors and secretaries of archives, museums, libraries, theaters, centers for social work, gerontological centers, public media institutions, the provincial institutes for the protection of cultural monuments and sports institutions.
The Agency reminds all institutions that the third phase is ongoing, in which measures from the adopted integrity plan are implemented, and the coordinator reports on their implementation in the electronic application. The deadline for reporting is September 30, 2024. year, and the deadline for the adoption of the Decision on the adoption of the report on the implementation of the integrity plan and its placement in the application is October 31, 2024.
