YOUTH EDUCATION ON CORRUPTION PREVENTION

Representatives of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption attend the round table on Approach and Challenges in the Anti-Corruption Education, organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and German Cooperation. Director of the Agency Mr. Dejan Damnjanovic pointed out that the Agency was fully committed to involving youth into corruption prevention and that it would continue supporting such initiatives. He also emphasized key importance of teaching youth on how to recognize corrupt conduct, its causes, and consequences as well as values in line with which they should act as to build and strengthen integrity.

MEETING OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY FOR PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION WITH THE SUPREME PUBLIC PROSECUTOR

Dejan Damnjanović, Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption met today Zagorka Dolovac, Supreme Public Prosecutor with whom he discussed previous and future cooperation in fight against corruption. The Agency and Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office are holders of numerous activities from the Revised Action Plan for Chapter 23-Subchapter Fight against Corruption, and their cooperation is also in line with the Law on Organization and Competence of State Authorities in Suppression of Organized Crime, Terrorism and Corruption.

WORKSHOP "CONFLICT OF INTEREST IN THE SECURITY SECTOR"

Representative of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption participates in the workshop on Conflict of Interest in the Security Sector, which takes place on 16th and 17th May 2023 in Podgorica, organized by the Centre for Security Cooperation (RACVIAC) in cooperation with the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Montenegro. The workshop is devoted to the exchange of experience and good practices in the field of conflict of interest, asset declarations, as well as enhancing integrity, especially in the security sector.

EXPERT MISSION OF THE SPECIAL INVESTIGATION SERVICE OF LITHUANIA

Representatives of the Special Investigation Service of Lithuania have been conducting the fourth expert mission in the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, within the Project “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“(EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights), jointly financed by the EU, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).

DIRECTOR WITH THE MINISTER FOR EUROPEAN INTEGRATION

Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Dejan Damnjanovic met today with Minister for European Integration Tanja Miscevic. In particular, they discussed on implementation of the activities from the Action Plan for Chapter 23, as well as Agency supervision of the Subchapter Fight against Corruption of this strategic document.
