COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND THE REPUBLIC GEODETIC AUTHORITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

Having in mind the importance of efficient and continuous cooperation among all relevant institutions in the fight against corruption, Dejan Damnjanovic, Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, and Borko Draskovic, Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority of the Republic of Serbia (RGA), signed the Cooperation Agreement today. The goal of the concluded Agreement is the realization of the cooperation between the Agency and the RGZ, to achieve more efficient implementation of tasks within their competencies prescribed by Law, digitalization of declaration of immovables, as well as simplification and facilitation of declaration of immovables to the Agency.

MEETING OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY WITH THE MAYOR OF NOVI SAD

Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Dejan Damnjanovic and Mayor of Novi Sad Milan Djuric met today and discussed previous and future cooperation in the field of prevention of corruption. Besides that, and regarding the Agency's plans to establish regional organizational units outside of the seat of the Agency in Belgrade, it was also discussed about technical possibilities for the establishment of the regional organizational unit in Novi Sad.

REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON CORRUPTION RISKS ASSESSMENT

Representatives of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption participate in a regional workshop on Corruption Risks Assessment for Higher Education and Public Enterprises Sectors which takes place on 4-5 April in Belgrade. Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative organized this workshop in partnership with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and supported by Austrian Development Cooperation.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE EUROPEAN LOBBYING REGISTRARS’ NETWORK

Representatives of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption have attended the European Lobbying Registrars’ Network Annual Conference on March 31 in an online format. The Conference was dedicated to exchanging experiences and best practices in the field of lobbying as well as exchange of information on the technology platforms used across the different lobbying registers.

DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY WITH THE MISSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND

Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Mr. Dejan Damnjanovic met with the Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Donal McGettigan. They discussed the competencies of the Agency, the next steps as well as challenges encountered in the operation of the Agency. They also tackled fulfillment of the Council of Europe Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) recommendations in the Fifth Evaluation Round as well as the role of the Agency in terms of drafting the new National Anti-Corruption Strategy.

EXPERT MISSION OF THE SPECIAL INVESTIGATION SERVICE OF LITHUANIA

Representatives of the Special Investigation Service of Lithuania have been conducting the third expert mission in the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, within the Project “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“ (EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights), jointly financed by the EU, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).
