TRAINING FOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS IN NOVI SAD AND SUBOTICA

On November 12 in Novi Sad and November 13 in Subotica, the Agency held training sessions titled "Prevention of Conflicts of Interest, Registers, Records, and Asset Control of Public Officials, Lobbying, and Corruption Risk Assessment in Regulations in the Republic of Serbia." These sessions were announced by Agency Director Dejan Damnjanović during recent meetings with representatives of local self-government units in Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, and Subotica. ONLINE TRAINING: "STANDARDS OF INTEGRITY FOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS WITHIN THE LEGAL AND INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK FOR CORRUPTION PREVENTION"

In accordance with the recommendation from the Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) in its Fifth Evaluation Round, an online training titled "Integrity Standards for Public Officials through the Legal and Institutional Framework for Corruption Prevention" was held on November 8, 2024. This training was attended by senior public officials in the Republic of Serbia, including assistant ministers, directors within ministries, and assistant directors of specialized organizations and government services.

MEETING BETWEEN THE AGENCY DIRECTOR AND REPRESENTATIVES OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT IN CENTRAL AND NORTH BANAT ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICTS

In an effort to establish direct communication with representatives of local self-government units in the cities and municipalities of northern and northeastern Serbia, the Director of the Agency, Dejan Damnjanović, held a meeting attended by the Head of the Central Banat District, the mayors of Zrenjanin and Kikinda, as well as the mayors and deputy mayors of Novi Bečej, Žitište, Nova Crnja, and Sečanj. Simo Salapura, the Mayor of Zrenjanin, welcomed attendees as the host of the meeting venue.

FINANCIAL FORENSIC TRAINING

Within the Project “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“(EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights), jointly financed by the EU, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), implemented by GIZ, ADA, CPMA and OSCE Mission to Serbia, two-day trainings for the Agency for Prevention of Corruption representatives was held, on the topic “Financial forensic”. Training was organized by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA).

REPRESENTATIVES OF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS FROM THE NISAVA, PČINJ, PIROT, AND JABLANICA DISTRICTS MEET WITH THE AGENCY DIRECTOR

As part of a series of meetings aimed at enhancing and expanding effective collaboration between the Agency and local government units, the Agency’s Director, Dejan Damnjanović, held a second meeting in Niš with representatives of these local self-governing units. In addition to the Nisava district, representatives from the Pčinj, Pirot, and Jablanica districts were present. The attendees from the five city municipalities of Niš, three municipalities within the Nisava district, and 12 cities and municipalities in the Pčinj, Pirot, and Jablanica districts were welcomed by the Mayor of Niš, Dragoslav Pavlović.
