WORK ON IMPROVING THE INTEGRITY PLAN FOR THE 4TH CYCLE

The Agency is actively working on the preparation of the 4th cycle of development and implementation of the Integrity Plan. During October and November 2024, in collaboration with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Belgrade, the Agency conducted 12 consultative meetings aimed at enhancing the draft Integrity Plan. The focus was on identifying work processes prone to risks of corruption and other irregularities. The meetings took place in Belgrade, Kragujevac, Niš, and Novi Sad, involving eight working groups. These groups consisted of representatives from various sectors, including the political system, judicial system, state administration and local self-government, education and science, health, social policy, and public enterprises.

MEETING OF THE AGENCY DIRECTOR WITH THE REPRESENTATIVES OF RASINA DISTRICT LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT UNITS

The Rasina District is the twentieth administrative district where the Director of the Agency, Dejan Damnjanović, has held a meeting with representatives of local self-government units (LGUs). The meeting focused on the Agency’s competencies and their implementation. Acting as the host, the Mayor of Kruševac, Ivan Manojlović, welcomed representatives from the municipalities of Varvarin, Brus, Aleksandrovac, and Trstenik.

TRAINING FOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS IN NOVI SAD AND SUBOTICA

On November 12 in Novi Sad and November 13 in Subotica, the Agency held training sessions titled "Prevention of Conflicts of Interest, Registers, Records, and Asset Control of Public Officials, Lobbying, and Corruption Risk Assessment in Regulations in the Republic of Serbia." These sessions were announced by Agency Director Dejan Damnjanović during recent meetings with representatives of local self-government units in Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, and Subotica. DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY MEETS WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF AUSTRIA AND ADVISOR FOR THE RULE OF LAW

Today, the Director of the Agency, Dejan Damnjanović, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Serbia, H.E. Mr. Christian Ebner, and the Embassy’s advisor for the rule of law, Mr. Georg Stawa. On this occasion, Damnjanović expressed his gratitude to the Austrian Embassy for its ongoing support to the Agency and joint efforts in the field of corruption prevention.

ONLINE TRAINING: "STANDARDS OF INTEGRITY FOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS WITHIN THE LEGAL AND INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK FOR CORRUPTION PREVENTION"

In accordance with the recommendation from the Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) in its Fifth Evaluation Round, an online training titled "Integrity Standards for Public Officials through the Legal and Institutional Framework for Corruption Prevention" was held on November 8, 2024. This training was attended by senior public officials in the Republic of Serbia, including assistant ministers, directors within ministries, and assistant directors of specialized organizations and government services.
